Superhydrophobic wood was prepared by an in situ sol-gel process.The wood surface was covered by a thin layer of nanostructured superhydrophobic film,and the contactangle of water droplet on the wood surface reached 150.6°.The phase composition,surface morphology and chemical groups of the superhydrophobic wood sample weregroups on the surface contribute to the superhydrophobic property of the wood surface.
